Association
Manager Martin Clark has organised an assistant referee seminar for
Sunday 22 August. This will bring together referees from all levels who
will be operating in Junior football this season.

The
seminar will be held at The Dalkeith High School Campus and will
primarily concentrate on various aspects of refereeing/assistant
refereeing, particularly relevant to those in Junior football.
The intention is to commence with arrival at 10.00 am and conclude
around 16.00pm.
The programme will include important aspects such as team-working,
dealing with confrontation, practical exercises and the opportunity to
speak with representatives and committee officials from Junior Football.
Colleagues from the Fife and Stirling associations will also be participating in this event.
Although the focus will be on Junior Football, the points covered in
the course of the day will be equally applicable to any level (for
example SPL Under 19 or East of Scotland football)
A fitness test/training session, depending on your Category, will take
place in the morning and a buffet lunch will be provided.
